FAQ for Our Walk-in Clinic in Springfield, MA

In case you were wondering!

What is an urgent care center?

An urgent care center is a medical facility that treats patients on a walk-in basis for most non-life threatening injuries or illnesses and minor emergencies. Most have the ability to perform basic diagnostic services, such as x-rays, lab tests, and EKGs. Many urgent care clinics, including us, also offer occupational health services, sports/school physicals, and vaccinations.

What does Sonic Urgent Care treat?

We treat everything from burns and cuts to bruises and fractures. We also treat ailments such as poison ivy, sore throat, allergies, urinary tract infections, coughs, and colds.

Do you take my insurance?

We accept many forms of insurance. You can find a partial list here. Call our office to determine if we are an in-network provider on your plan. Please also note that we do accept patients who do not have insurance and would like to pay for medical care out-of-pocket.

Can I use an urgent care facility as my family doctor if I don’t have one?

We are not a substitute for a family doctor. We are here to provide care when it is inconvenient to go to your family doctor, or you are unable to reach them for an appointment.
